| SPYA Sports Families,
We hope this email finds you and your family well during this unprecedented time. Our priority is always keeping our players and volunteers safe. With that said and in alignment with recent school closures, SPYA has decided to cancel our spring sports programs.
Families of Baseball, Field Hockey, NFL Flags, Soccer, and Softball have two options:
(1) Families may elect to donate their registration fee to SPYA (501(c3) non profit organization) for continued upkeep, expansion and improvement of our equipment and facilities.
(2) Families may elect have their registration fee reimbursed minus $20.00 which covers the cost for operational costs (such as insurance, website, utilities, administrative costs, etc.).
If you elect to have a refund please email treasurer@spya.org and include in the subject line – the sport and program (such as “2020 Spring Baseball”, “2020 Spring Field Hockey Skills and Drills Registration”, “2020 Spring NFL Flag”, “Spring 2020 SPYA In-House / Rec Soccer Registration”, “Spring 2020 SPYA Travel Soccer Registration”, or “2020 Spring Softball” along with the PLAYERS NAME before May 10, 2020.
NOTE: SPYA Spring Sports registration refund requests will only be open till Sunday, May 10, 2020.
We will process refunds that provide all the required information in the order which they are received. We hope to have refunds completed by July 1, 2020. Once your refund has been processed, you will receive an email stating “PROCESSED”. Please allow 7-10 for the charge or payment to return to the credit or debit used during registration.
For SPYA Lacrosse families, we are currently working through the financials and attempting to receive refunds and credits for items, training, and rentals already purchased. We hope to have more details on SPYA Lacrosse no later than May 10, 2020 and we disseminate that information at that time.
