Open Women’s Flag Football

 

South Parkland Flag Football is now offering open women's division for our spring flag football season! Games will be played on Sunday afternoons. 4 or 5 game season followed by playoffs. This division is open to all moms, sisters, aunts, cousins, nieces, and friends ages 21 and up. Grab your friends to make a team or sign up and join a team!

Spring 2025 Flag Football Registration is now OPEN!

     We are offering Youth Rec divisions for 7u, 9u, 11u, 13u, 15u, and 18u.

 

There will also be 10u, 12u, and 14u advanced divisions who will play each other as well as teams from LMYA and other areas. This is separate from our new travel flags division. If interested in travel flags, please email us and our travel flag coach for your age level will reach out with more info.

 

As flag football continues to grow rapidly, we need to adjust how to run the program. Games will possibly be scheduled during the week, Friday nights, Saturdays and possibly Sundays. We may also be playing at other locations besides Grange park. Game schedules vary week to week. Practice schedules are set by the volunteer head coaches. They may also be held at other locations besides Grange Park. We are always looking for more coaches!

If you would like the coach this spring season either as a new or a returning coach, please email flagfootball@spya.org ASAP so we can mark you down and plan for teams accordingly.

Our league can only run smoothly with the help of our families. A $50 volunteer fee will be reimbursed at the end of the season for those who volunteer sometime throughout the season. There will be many opportunities for everyone throughout the season
to help out.

                                                 Travel Team Opportunity!

 

SPYA Flag Football is excited to announce we will now be offering travel/ tournament flag football this spring! As flag football continues to grow for us here at SPYA, we will now be able to offer an opportunity for those players who would like to take the next step in competitive flag football in addition to our REC seasons. Age divisions will be based on player interest. We are looking to have teams in 6u, 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u, and 17u. Some tournaments may offer odd age levels as well. Registration includes players uniform and cost to participate in 4 tournaments.

Tournaments we are looking to enter as South Parkland are:

-March 23rd in Hillsborough NJ
-April 27 in Downington PA
-May 16th-18th in Consohocken, PA
-June 1 in Consohocken, PA

Additional Tournaments will be available at extra costs based on interest once teams are formed. Each tournament consists of 2 or 3 pool play games followed by playoffs.

Registration is open for both boys and girls. All girl teams will play in the girls division if enough participate otherwise teams will be coed. Teams will consist of 8-10 players. Age divisions are based on players age as of 8/1/24. Tryouts may be needed.
