Spring Flags 2025

Hello SPYA Flag families,

Please check your players team snap frequently for any schedule changes/adjustments. While we don’t like to adjust the schedule once it’s set, various conflicts come up each season that we need to adjust.
Some are out of our control. Field 4 will now be unavailable for games for the next few weeks due to trench work by Upper Mac for electrical and sewer lines to the new building.

Spirit wear orders are in! We will have them available for pickup at the concession stand each game day. We will also have pink, red, black, and grey flags/belt for sale along with Xenith loop head protection. If we don’t have your size and are interested in buying head protection, we can order more as needed. Head gear is not mandatory but highly recommended as I have seen many incidental collisions. Xenith head loops come in just two sizes. S/MD and L/XL.

Pictures are in as well. If you would like to help your coach out by picking up and distributing team pictures, that is a volunteer opportunity to earn your fee back. If you help out your coach in anyway like assistant coach, help run drills, bring team
snacks for our younger teams, sideline manage younger teams, etc, that could
qualify you for your volunteer fee back as well. Please reach out to your coach and see if your team’s coach could use any assistance.

Finally, I wanted to remind everyone about proper behaviors while attending the games.

This applies to all players, coaches, and spectators. Spectators can cost a team a penalty. We are all SPYA families that signed the waiver during registration that we will all follow the SPYA code of conduct that we will cheer on all players and not harass any coaches, players, or officials. Any unsportsmanlike behaviors from any player, coach, or spectator will be penalized and subject to game ejection and possible further suspension. All ejections are reviewed by the flag football board. Remember we are all here for the players to have a great experience!

Thank you all for your continued support of SPYA Flag football!
