SPYA assembles teams through a rigorous player evaluation process for the Lehigh Valley League. Accepting a position on these teams demands unwavering dedication from both players and parents. Those chosen for SPYA teams are expected to prioritize baseball as their primary sport and team commitment for the season. They commit to attending SPYA practices and games over other sports or teams. Additionally, residency restrictions apply for players participating in this league.

The LVL operates exclusively in the Spring season, with player participation contingent on tryouts. These teams comprise the highest caliber players from South Parkland in each division. Each team engages in a 14-game season, culminating in a double elimination playoff tournament to conclude the season.
