SPYA had a Board Meeting on 6/15  to discuss  Fall Sports plans.

Good news is we are talking about youth sports again.  Bad news is there are still many tasks, permissions, and planning to be done.  The SPYA Board and Commissioners are working diligently to obtain permissions and have a detailed plan that allows for a safe return to youth sports.

Next Steps:

  • Townships and School Districts are not allowing any organized youth sports activities at this time
  • Once our areas turns “Green” approvals for playing at township or school facilities will begin
  • Parkland Softball League:  Meeting 6/25 to discuss Fall Season and what that might look like
  • Continued direction from USSSA Softball on new guidelines for participant safety

We are all ready to get back to the new normal and have the kids playing sports.  Please check the SPYA website for any updates and I will continue to send updates through TeamSnap.
