At the 2010 age group, we have two girls travel teams (FP Storm and Lightning). These two teams practice together twice a week but play in separate, competitive leagues. Here’s some highlights from the two teams:

  • Lightning played in the LVYSL Tournament in June 2019 (finished 2nd overall in the u9 girsl group) and the VE Summer Splash Tournament in August 2019
  • FP Storm played in the LVYSL Tournament in June 2019 (finished 2nd overall in the u10 girls group), the Baxter Blast in August 2019 (Champions in the u10 girls group), Battle at Hilltop (2nd in the u10 girls group) and the Coppa Classico in October 2019.
  • A group of girls from both the FP Storm and Lightning teams competed in More Beach Blast 2019 and finished 2nd in the top division of u9 girls.
  • FP Storm competed in the top u10 girls division in ICSL and finished 2nd overall during the Fall 2019 season. We were the only team to hand the division champions a loss during league play.
  • Lightning competed in the LVYSL league and had a very competitive season finishing with 3 wins, 2 ties and 4 losses.
  • The girls played weekly “Sunday Funday” games during the winter season and we formed 4 teams to compete in the u11 bracket at the Parkland High School 3v3 season.
