Football
Hello SPYA Families!
Registration is open for our 2025 Fall Tackle Football Season which begins August 4th. We are a part of the EPYFL and follow the PIAA rules. Our games are held on Saturdays or Sundays beginning Aug. 23rd and ending with our Championship game being held on Nov. 8th. As of right now the coaches have collectively decided that we will not cap the number of players allowed on a team but this is subject to change. Registration will close on June 30th and WILL NOT reopen.

*If there is a chance that you will play for the middle school team but have to “make the cut”, please still register for us so you are guaranteed to be on the roster and if you make the middle school team, we will refund your money.
Youth Camp
We won’t have a youth camp this year but each team of coaches is encouraged to have pre-season “workouts” where they will begin to teach safety, speed, agility, etc. This is especially geared toward the players who are new to the sport of tackle football.
Mandatory Volunteer Fee
It takes a team of parents/families with a lot of time and effort to put on the best program for the players in our community. The volunteer fee is mandatory and potentially reimbursable upon volunteering. The fee was established across all SPYA sports to encourage volunteers to make the program better. The fee is reimbursed at the end of the season once a family volunteers.
SPYA has a financial aid applicaiton and process for families in need. It is completed in the strictest confidence. You may request further information at treasurer@spya.org
SPYA has a NO REFUND Policy! If we have a place for your child to play, no refunds will be given unless otherwise stated.
If you have any questions please reach out to me at football@spya.org. I’m looking forward to another great year of football!
