The 2026 Football season is quickly approaching and the registraion links are now active!

Please contact me if you have any questions before signing up as it's very difficult to change a registration once it's been submitted.

A reminder that SPYA does not give refunds if there is a spot for your child to play with the exception that if your child makes the middle school team we will reimburse your registration but please register with us to guarantee a spot with us just in case. Also that the numbers requested can not be guaranteed however we will do our best with what we have in inventory.

 

Please also take notice of the age/weight changes for this year.

-There is no longer an older/lighter option for JV.
- The date for age cut-offs is now January 1st of the current year for all levels
- Weight restrictions have gone up so players can participate with their peers and not necessarily have to move up due to their weight.

 

Remember that we participate in a competitive league meaning that PW thru Varsity are competitive levels and we are expected to produce a competitive team while also building on skills, safety, teambuilding, sportsmanship, and fun.

1. If a player is age 7 years and has already played two or more seasons of flag football and/or the player weighs 65lbs. or more, then that player is encouraged to play at the Junior Pee Wee level.

1. For the 2026 season only, any returning 2025 player born between 8/1/2016 and 12/31/2016 would be eligible to play the 2026 season at the Pee Wee level for the same organization the child played for during the 2025 season. The child’s parent/guardian has the choice of their child playing at either the Pee Wee or Junior Varsity level. If the parent chooses for the child to play at the Pee Wee level, they understand their child will only get one year of eligibility at the Junior Varsity level in the future. Any player born during this age range that chooses to play at the Pee Wee level for the 2026 season is not eligible to double roster at the Junior Varsity level.
a. Skill Player Weight Limit: 100lbs
b. Lineman Weight Limit: 140lbs
