SPYA Families,

 

SPYA Basketball will be having a Boys & Girls Summer Basketball Recreational League this year:

PLEASE READ THIS EMAIL IN ITS ENTIRETY

  • There will be no refunds unless there is no spot for your child to play. This is an SPYA policy across all sports.
  • The grades participating will be 3rd grade – 12th In-order to be eligible, it is the grade your child is going into in the fall. I.e., current 12th graders are not eligible
  • All Parkland recreational basketball players are eligible (SPYA, PYC & SPA)
  • All Practices and Games will be held at GRANGE PARK
    • The hours will be approx. M-F 5pm-8pm and possibly Sat & Sun
    • There will be 1-2 practices and the rest will be games, we are shooting for 8 games. Please don’t sign up if you are looking for an intensive practice schedule because that will not be provided, this will be a Game focused League. We are hoping to have 2 games per week depending on how many players sign up.
    • The league will start approx. Mid-June – 1st or 2nd week of August
  • There will be no tryouts. Please bring your Coach and Full Team from the previous Season
    • It is your responsibility to put your Coach Preference when signing up, if this isn’t done at registration, we cannot guarantee you child will be placed on that team
    • Any player that doesn’t have a coach will be randomly placed on a team.
  • Any Parents interested in coaching please reach out to me ASAP basketball@spya.org

 

 

 

  • Any registration extension past these dates will result in a late fee

 

  • Practice/Game schedules will not be available till June
