South Parkland Youth Association (SPYA) is a member in the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Football League (EPYFL) www.epyfl.org This is a tackle football league played with modified Pennsylvania high school rules and has several opportunities for our elementary aged boys and girls. EPYFL is an age and weight-based league with five levels offered. The levels range from flags starting in Kindergarten to Varsity that the player cannot weigh more than 145 pounds or turn 14 in 2021. On the registration form please include players current weight so our league can make any adjustments to our weight classes based on registrations. Our season runs from August until October.
Below are the registration links and league criteria for each level;
Varsity level has a 145 pound weight limit, players cannot be turning 14 in 2021, most players are in 5th or 6th grade and 11 or 12 years old.
Junior Varsity level has two separate league age/weight requirements.
1. Player weighs 125 pounds or under and does not turn 11 before August 1.
